Where most programmable power equipment is designed strictly for indoor lab use, several Preen lines are built — not merely adapted — for real outdoor operation. The BPS Series is the clearest example: a complete shore power supply built into a customized outdoor container, rated to IP54 as standard, delivering up to 2000kVA to shipbuilding berths and vessels under high humidity, heat, and corrosion exposure. The AMV 400Hz ground power range ships with IP54 protection as standard too, rated -40°C to 55°C, available as a fully self-contained trailer unit. Most other Preen AC and DC platforms — AFV, AFC, ADC, ADG-L, APS, and more — can be built into a customized outdoor container or upgraded to an IP54-rated enclosure as an option. This makes Preen the natural choice whenever a power supply, conditioner, or load bank has to survive outside a controlled lab environment, not just work inside one.
