Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) with 15–25K/min Temperature Change Rates
Rapid temperature change chambers combine a wide temperature and humidity control range with fast ramp rates, supporting environmental stress screening (ESS) programs to MIL-STD-2164 and IEC 60068-2-14. Unlike thermal shock testing's near-instant transfer between separate zones, a rapid temperature change chamber ramps the SAME chamber's internal temperature at a controlled, high rate — the closer analogue to real-world thermal stress a product actually experiences in service.
Three change-rate tiers are available (15K/min, 20K/min, and 25K/min) so the chamber's cost and complexity can be matched to the specific ESS profile required, rather than defaulting to the fastest, most expensive option for every test program.
