Automatic voltage regulators and solid-state power conditioners from Preen, protecting sensitive equipment and maintaining stable power quality against grid voltage fluctuation.
AVR and power conditioning equipment corrects fluctuations in incoming grid voltage before they reach sensitive downstream equipment — protecting production lines, medical devices, telecom infrastructure, and test equipment from the voltage sags, surges, and instability of a real-world (or unreliable) supply. Unlike a grid simulator, which deliberately reproduces disturbance for testing purposes, an AVR or conditioner exists to remove it, holding output within a tight regulation band regardless of what the input does.
Preen's range covers both major approaches: the APH Series uses electromagnetic induction for cost-effective, high-overload regulation, while the APS Series uses fast solid-state compensation for the tightest regulation and quickest response.
