Overview
IEC 60335-1 covers the safety of household and similar electrical appliances. Its protection-against-access clauses use the IEC 61032 probes plus appliance-specific items. The SMT-635K kit includes test probe B (the jointed test finger), test probes 11, 13 and 41, a test finger probe with a 50mm circular stop face, and the test finger nail of Figure 7.
Together these let an appliance laboratory carry out the standard's accessibility checks from a single kit.
