LISUN SMT-529T probe kit for verifying the first IP code digit (IP1X–IP4X) to IEC 60529: 50mm sphere, jointed test finger, 2.5mm rod, 1.0mm wire and low-voltage contact indicator.
Enquire About This Product
The first digit of an IP rating states how well an enclosure keeps out solid objects and fingers. IEC 60529 verifies it with a set of probes of decreasing size, each pushed against every opening with a specified force. If the probe enters, it must not reach hazardous parts; for the higher digits, it must not enter at all.
The SMT-529T kit contains the four access probes needed for the IP1X to IP4X checks, plus a low-voltage test supply that lights an indicator if a probe touches a live part, so contact inside a closed enclosure is detected electrically rather than by eye.
