Overview
A leakage clamp meter is a clamp meter optimised for very small currents. Clamping around both active and neutral (or all phases) shows the residual current leaking to earth, which is how electricians trace nuisance RCD tripping, insulation deterioration and earth faults without disconnecting circuits.
MEWOI's range splits by what it measures and how big a conductor it fits. The MEWOI7300 has the finest resolution (1µA) for sensitive AC leakage work; the MEWOI7300E is its DC counterpart for solar, battery and EV charging circuits. The MEWOI7000 and 7000C measure both AC and DC through small jaws. The 7500, 7600 and 7800 step up in AC range and jaw size for larger cables and cable bundles, and the MEWOI7800E adds DC to 2000A in a ø68mm jaw. All store 99 readings and have RS232 output.
