Overview
This range covers MEWOI's general-purpose handheld thermal cameras, from basic models for quick fault-finding to a professional camera for detailed electrical and building surveys. The main differences are detector resolution, temperature range and how much analysis the camera can do on its own.
MEWOI-M300 is the professional model: a 384×288 VOx detector with 12µm pitch and NETD below 50mK, a manually focused lens close enough to resolve a 1mm target at 0.1m, and a 3.5-inch 640×480 touch screen for drawing point, line and area measurements directly on the image. A 5MP visible camera supports fusion and picture-in-picture views, Wi-Fi sends images to PC and phone software, and a laser pointer helps locate targets. It is IP54 sealed, 2m drop tested and ships with two quick-change 4500mAh batteries.
MEWOI-C200 (256×192) and MEWOI-C100 (160×120) share the M300's -20 to 550°C range and 0.05°C sensitivity in a simpler camera with a 2.8-inch screen and PC software. MEWOI12 (60×60) and MEWOI12E (32×32) are entry-level imagers for -20 to 300°C, running on AA batteries and saving to SD card.
Which model?
Pick by the smallest fault you need to see and how far away you'll be. For switchboard surveys, reports and building diagnostics, the M300 or C200 give enough resolution to identify individual terminations. The C100 suits routine maintenance rounds. The MEWOI12 and 12E are for quick go/no-go hot-spot checks on a budget.
