MEWOI high/low voltage clamp meters measure current on conductors up to 60kV from an insulating rod, from 0.01mA leakage to 1600A load, with wireless versions and the MEWOI1500 wireless CT ratio tester.

These clamp meters mount on an insulating hot stick so that current can be measured on overhead lines and HV conductors without switching off or making contact. The same meter reads both small leakage currents (down to 0.01mA) and load currents, so it is used for checking line and transformer loading, finding leakage on insulators and arresters, and verifying metering CT ratios.
The series differ in range and jaw size. The MEWOI1000 (ø50mm, to 1200A), MEWOI1100 (ø33mm, to 600A) and MEWOI1200 (ø68mm, to 1000A, 1600A optional) are used on systems below 60kV with the insulating rod (35kV on bare wire). C versions transmit readings wirelessly up to 30m to a handheld receiver, and T versions are portable low-voltage models. The MEWOI1500 is a wireless CT ratio tester that clamps the high-voltage primary and low-voltage secondary at the same time, with monitoring software; the 1500D adds a third clamp.
