Overview
These two compact cameras are for technicians who want a thermal imager in the toolbag or shirt pocket rather than in a case back at the van.
The MEWOI-B2 packs the same 220×160 detector and 0.07°C sensitivity as MEWOI's pistol-grip MEWOI28 into a flat 140×80×28mm body weighing 208g. It has a 3.2-inch screen, a 0.3MP visible-light camera for reference photos, adjustable emissivity and 3GB of internal memory.
The MEWOI-U3 is a true pocket camera, 16mm thick and 173g, designed to be used without training: three buttons, a 3.5-inch screen that rotates automatically, and automatic tracking of maximum, minimum and average temperature. Its 80×60 detector sits behind a wide 50° lens for scanning panels at close range, it measures up to 450°C, charges over USB-C and is sealed to IP54.
Which model?
Choose the B2 when image detail matters, for example identifying individual terminations or components. Choose the U3 for quick scans, higher-temperature targets up to 450°C, and for a camera that lives in your pocket on site.
