Enquire About This Product
The SHINHO 18S is an active cladding-alignment fusion splicer built for fast, reliable splicing in the field. It splices in as little as 4 seconds (fast mode) and completes heat-shrink protection in 8 seconds, with a typical splice loss of 0.02dB on standard single-mode fiber and an average of 0.014dB across SHINHO's own splice-loss distribution testing.
Tool-free electrode replacement, an auto-flipping 5.0-inch touch display, and an interlocked windproof cover with automatic open/close heater keep the splicer fast to operate and protected in harsh field conditions. Special clamps handle loose tube fiber, with support for SOC and removable fiber holders. A detachable 6800mAh battery supports up to 550 splice-and-heat cycles, with Bluetooth 5.0 LE and an optional IoT module for device and data management through the SHINHO app.
