ATS2000V Series High Precision Voltage Source

Output up to 200V (ATS-2400V), resolution down to 2μV on the 200mV range, one-year accuracy ±(0.02% + offset)

Calibrating a precision voltmeter, characterising a sensor's voltage response, or verifying an ADC's linearity all depend on the reference itself being cleaner and more stable than whatever it's testing — the moment the source becomes the largest source of uncertainty in the measurement chain, the whole calibration loses its value. Aigtek's ATS-2000V Series is built specifically as that reference point: a high-accuracy, high-stability DC voltage source rather than a general-purpose bench supply.

Resolution reaches 2μV on the 200mV range, with full scale up to 200V on the ATS-2400V, 60V on the ATS-2420V and 20V on the ATS-2401V. Aigtek specifies one-year accuracy of ±(0.02% of output + offset) on every range, and straightforward LCD panel operation keeps day-to-day use simple, which matters in a calibration lab where the same instrument is used across many routine verification tasks.

This combination of fine resolution and output stability makes the ATS-2000V a natural fit for calibration labs, sensor characterisation work, and any application where the instrument doing the testing needs to be demonstrably more accurate than the device under test — not simply "close enough," but a genuine reference-grade source.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a voltage source need 2μV resolution when most measurements don't need that precision?

The source's own resolution sets a ceiling on how finely a calibration or characterisation task can be controlled — if the source can only step in coarser increments than the measurement itself needs, that becomes the limiting factor. Having resolution well beyond what any individual test requires means the source is never the bottleneck, whatever the specific application calls for.

What's the difference between a precision voltage source and a standard bench power supply?

A standard bench supply is optimised for delivering usable power to a circuit, with accuracy and resolution specifications that are adequate but not exceptional. A precision voltage source like the ATS-2000V is optimised specifically for output accuracy, stability, and low noise, trading off general-purpose power delivery capability for measurement-grade reference performance.

Is the ATS-2000V suited to calibration lab use?

Yes — its combination of high accuracy, fine resolution, and output stability is exactly the specification profile a calibration lab needs from a reference source, and the straightforward LCD panel operation supports the kind of repeated, routine use a calibration workflow typically involves.
