ATA-3000 Series Power Amplifier

Bandwidth (-3dB) up to DC~120kHz, Max output power 1000Wp, Adjustable voltage gain

General-purpose power amplification of AC and DC signals — driving power-type loads without the extreme voltage of Aigtek's dedicated high-voltage series, but with more output power than a lab signal amplifier — covers a broad and practical middle ground in test and drive applications. Aigtek's ATA-3000 Series addresses this segment directly, amplifying AC and DC signals up to 1000Wp of maximum output power.

Bandwidth to 120kHz (-3dB) gives the ATA-3000 solid dynamic response for its power class, and numerically controlled voltage gain adjustment supports precise, repeatable configuration of output scaling. As a general power amplifier rather than a specialised high-voltage or wide-bandwidth instrument, the ATA-3000 fits applications where driving a power-type load at moderate frequency is the core requirement, without needing the specialised characteristics (extreme voltage, extended bandwidth, PZT-specific matching) that other series in the range are built around.

This positions the ATA-3000 as a practical general-purpose choice — where an application's requirements are straightforward power amplification within a moderate frequency range, it covers that need without the added cost of specification the application doesn't actually use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of loads is the ATA-3000 built to drive?

General power-type loads requiring AC or DC signal amplification up to 1000Wp — a broad category covering many standard power amplification test and drive applications that don't call for the extreme voltage or specialised load-matching of Aigtek's more specialised series.

How does the ATA-3000 compare to the higher-power ATA-300 series?

The ATA-300 series reaches a higher maximum output power, up to 4000Wp. Where an application needs substantially more raw output power, the ATA-300 is the appropriate choice; where up to 1000Wp at up to 120kHz is sufficient, the ATA-3000 covers the requirement.

What does numerically controlled voltage gain adjustment provide over a manual analog control?

Numerical control gives precise, repeatable gain settings that can be dialled in exactly and reproduced consistently across test sessions, avoiding the drift or imprecision that can come with a purely manual analog gain adjustment.
