Outputs sine, square, triangle, and pulse wave, Maximum output power 810Wp, Bandwidth (-3dB) DC~100kHz
Some power signal generator applications need the same 810Wp drive capability as Aigtek's ATG-300 Series but at a higher operating frequency — ultrasonic transducer drive, higher-frequency MEMS actuation, and similar applications where the drive signal needs meaningful bandwidth well beyond a few tens of kilohertz. The ATG-3000 Series extends the same combined signal-generation-and-power-amplification architecture to 100kHz (-3dB) bandwidth.
Like the ATG-300, it generates sine, square, triangle, and pulse waveforms directly at power level, with selectable internal or external signal input giving the same flexibility between standalone operation and integration with an external waveform source. The extended bandwidth is the key differentiator, opening up applications where the drive frequency itself sits well above what the ATG-300's 30kHz range covers.
Maximum output remains at 810Wp, so bandwidth is the main deciding factor between the two series: where an application's frequency needs stay within 30kHz, the ATG-300 covers it; where higher-frequency drive is needed, the ATG-3000's 100kHz bandwidth is the appropriate choice. The ATG-3000 also offers lower distortion (THD ≤0.1% versus ≤0.5%), faster slew rates, and customisable output impedance.

The main deciding factor is bandwidth: the ATG-300 covers applications up to 30kHz, while the ATG-3000 extends to 100kHz. The ATG-3000 also has lower distortion (THD ≤0.1% versus ≤0.5%), faster slew rates (for example ≥20V/μs versus ≥6V/μs on the ATG-3040 and ATG-304), and customisable output impedance.
Higher-frequency ultrasonic transducer testing and certain MEMS or piezoelectric actuation applications operate at drive frequencies that a 30kHz-bandwidth instrument can't reach accurately — the ATG-3000's extended range covers this higher-frequency segment while keeping the same power-amplification architecture and output capability.
No — the ATG-3000 maintains the same 810Wp maximum output as the ATG-300, so extending bandwidth to 100kHz doesn't require trading away drive power for the applications that need both higher frequency and substantial output capability.
