Bandwidth (-3dB) DC~5MHz, Max output voltage 25Vp-p (±12.5Vp), Max output current 2Ap
Amplifying a signal without corrupting its shape or introducing loading effects depends on more than raw gain — the amplifier's input and output impedance both need to be appropriately matched to the signal source and load, or the "amplified" signal ends up distorted relative to the original. Aigtek's ATA-100 Series is built around exactly this kind of careful impedance matching, with adjustable input resistance (50Ω or 1MΩ) to match either low- or high-internal-resistance signal sources, enabling what Aigtek describes as lossless signal amplification.
Bandwidth from DC to 5MHz covers a solid general-purpose frequency range, and adjustable output resistance (1.5Ω or 50Ω) adds matching flexibility on the output side as well, letting the ATA-100 be configured appropriately for the load or measurement instrument it's feeding. Maximum output voltage of 25Vp-p (±12.5Vp) with up to 2Ap current positions the ATA-100 as a signal-level rather than power-level amplifier, prioritising fidelity over raw drive capability.
This combination of dual-sided impedance matching and lossless amplification focus makes the ATA-100 well suited to general lab signal amplification tasks where preserving the original signal's shape and characteristics through the amplification stage matters more than maximising output power.

Both offer adjustable input impedance and wide bandwidth; the ATA-1000 reaches further in bandwidth (25MHz versus 5MHz) while the ATA-100 offers a finer choice of output resistance options (1.5Ω/50Ω versus the ATA-1000's more general adjustable output). The right choice depends on the specific bandwidth and output matching requirement.
Different downstream loads or measurement instruments expect different source impedances — 50Ω is a common standard for RF and general lab equipment, while a very low 1.5Ω output resistance suits applications needing to drive a low-impedance load without significant voltage drop across the amplifier's own output impedance.
