The TTC-1 Tracking Tester evaluates the tracking resistance of insulating materials in humid or contaminated environments. It simulates surface contamination causing leakage current in insulating components of electrical equipment, leading to tracking corrosion or breakdown. The Tracking Resistance Index (CTI) of a material is determined by whether a sustained flame or insulation breakdown occurs.
Applied voltage: 100–600V AC, 48–60Hz adjustable. Contaminated liquid: 0.1% ammonium chloride solution with dedicated storage system. Electrode: rectangular platinum (purity >99%), pressure 1.0N ±0.05N. Drip parameters: distance 30–40mm, volume 44–55 drops/cm³, interval 30s ±5s. Leakage current monitor: 0–100mA (accuracy ±2%), with 60mA over-threshold alarm. Test time: 0–9999s. Sample size: recommended 100×100×(2–10)mm. LCD touchscreen.
