Overview
The M98 series programmable electronic load uses AD+DA technology to achieve fast, high-precision measurement. The 0.1mV/0.1mA resolution lets the instrument display small changes in voltage and current that a coarser load would miss. The CR-LED test mode simulates the diode turn-on voltage rise that a real LED load presents, giving stable, repeatable test voltage and current instead of the instability a traditional fixed-resistor load produces — a genuine reflection of LED driver load conditions rather than an approximation of one.
The series spans 8 models covering 300W to 4500W and up to 240A, sharing the same core measurement technology and test modes. Lower-power models (M9822, M9822B) use a VFD display; higher-power models from M9822A upward use an LCD touch screen. See the table below for how the models differ.
All models share: 500kHz high-speed sampling AD with real-time Vpp/Vp+/Vp-/Ipp/Ip+/Ip- measurement; CR-LED test mode; OCP test function with automatic protection-point and Pmax capture; up to 50kHz dynamic load frequency with settable current slope; time measurement for OVP protection point, power start-up and hold time; battery test mode with capacity, internal resistance and curve drawing; list test mode for multi-condition pass/fail sequencing; USB HOST with one-button screen copy; 100 internal + 500 external (U disk) setting files; Handler and RS232C interfaces standard.
