IS-*MA**P / IS-*MA**C — LISUN Integrating Sphere

Overview

The IS-MAP and IS-MAC series integrating spheres with side assistant opening are designed per IES LM-79 Clause 9.1.2, which requires both 4π geometry (sphere-based) and 2π geometry (side opening) configurations for LED testing.

LISUN's A-Molding Technology produces a more perfectly round sphere for greater measurement accuracy compared to traditionally assembled multi-piece spheres. The side opening allows large streetlights and floodlights to be inserted with their light-emitting surface directed into the sphere interior.

Ordering codes: IS-1.5MA55P or IS-1.5MA55C (Ø1.5m with 0.5m square or circular opening); IS-1.75MA66P or IS-1.75MA66C (Ø1.75m, 0.6m opening); IS-2.0MA77P or IS-2.0MA77C (Ø2.0m, 0.7m opening). Diameters of 2.5m and 3.0m can be custom designed.

BaSO4 internal coating: ρ(λ)≥0.96 (450–800nm); ρ(λ)≥0.92 (380–450nm). Fine diffuse reflection: ρ≈0.8. All functional lamp testing jigs built-in (E40/E27 vertical, T5/T8/T12 horizontal, LED streetlamp testing holder base). Two photo detector ports, one optical fibre port and one temperature sensor port built-in.
