Overview
The LISUN IK01-06 Spring Impact Hammer is used to perform IK level impact protection testing for luminaire enclosures from IK01 (0.14J) to IK06 (1J). IK ratings (IEC62262) indicate the degree of protection against external mechanical impacts.
Energy levels: IK01 = 0.14J, IK02 = 0.2J, IK03 = 0.35J, IK04 = 0.5J, IK05 = 0.7J, IK06 = 1J.
IEC 62262 specifies mounting conditions, atmospheric conditions, impact quantity and distribution, and which impact hammer to use for each IK level. For luminaire testing, applicable per IEC60598 (GB7000) and IEC60068-2-75 (GB2423.55).
