The EN62471-C LED Photobiological Radiation Safety Test System evaluates the optical radiation safety of non-laser sources including LED products and UV radiation in general lighting, addressing hazards to eyes and skin. The system complies with IEC62471-1, EN62471-1, CIE S009, IEC62471-6:2022, IEC62471-7:2023, GB/T20145, IEC/EN 60598 Annex P, IEC/EN 60432, IEC60335-2-27, EN60335-2-27, IEC60335-2-59, GB 7000.1 and 2009/125/EC.
Three wavelength variants: EN62471-A (200–800nm), EN62471-B (200–1500nm), EN62471-C (200–3000nm).
Detectors: PMT, InGaAs, Si and PbS. Radiance geometry simulates the human eye's retina. Acceptance apertures: Dia 7mm for radiance; Dia 20mm and 7mm for irradiance. FOV range: 1.5mrad to 110mrad (1.7mrad, 11mrad, 100/110mrad) for radiance; 100mrad, 1.4rad and 6.28rad for irradiance.
Testing distance: 200mm to 6.0m (optional) with constant FOVs. Maximum exposure scanning range: 2pi-space. Imaging radiance meter uses scientific-grade 16-bit CCD camera with TEC cooling. Traceable to NIM. Sampling speed for pulse source: 20μs to 10s. Image resolution: 1600×1200.
