Overview
The EMI-9K Series EMI Receiver Test System measures conducted and radiated interference generated by electrical and electronic products, widely used for LED lighting, switching power supplies, power tools, household appliances and IT equipment. System configuration includes EMI Receiver, LISN, isolation transformer and coaxial cable (EMI-9KC adds a CDNE). Detection modes: PK (peak), QP (quasi-peak) and AV (average) across all models.
Three models cover increasing frequency range and capability. EMI-9KA is the entry-level model for conducted emissions only (9kHz–30MHz), automatic operation with PC software display. EMI-9KB extends to 300MHz for conducted and radiated testing, also automatic-only operation with PC software. EMI-9KC is the full-range model covering 9kHz to 1GHz, with configurable sweep range/step/threshold/time, both manual and automatic operation, and a large LCD touchscreen in addition to PC software — the highest-accuracy option (±1dB vs ±1.8dB on the entry and mid-range models).
Companion SDR Series Magnetic Shielding Cabinets are available for isolating the test environment from ambient electromagnetic interference during EMI testing.
