Overview
RFlight offers two desktop passive intermodulation (PIM) tester variants: Bench Isolator Intermodulation Instrument (product-detail/16) with built-in isolator, and Bench Intermodulation Instrument (product-detail/15) standard model. Both provide laboratory bench PIM testing of RF passive components including antennas, cables, connectors and filters.
PIM testing is critical for mobile network infrastructure — even small levels of passive intermodulation in base station components cause receiver desensitisation and dropped calls. Desktop testers are used in component qualification and production QC.
