Overview

RFlight's 5G Massive MIMO and Beamforming Test System uses the NT-VPM-VAM m×n bidirectional reciprocal RF phase-shift amplitude-modulation matrix to enable laboratory research and testing of massive MIMO beamforming algorithms and products.

The system controls the phase and amplitude of each of up to 64 (scalable) channels independently. Supports end-to-end wireless performance testing of wireless communication terminals and base station equipment.

Frequency bands supported: 1.8–2.7GHz, 2.3–3.8GHz, 3–6GHz, 24–30GHz. Matrix size scalable up to 128×128. Supports MIMO, cell beam splitting and multipath fading simulation experiments in 4G/5G wireless channels.
