Simulated Altitude Environments for Sports Science and Human Performance Applications
Separately from electronics and materials test equipment, Sonacme also manufactures hypoxic (reduced-oxygen) environmental systems used to simulate high-altitude conditions for human occupancy — a different application to product qualification testing, aimed at sports science, altitude acclimatisation, and human performance research rather than verifying a product's environmental tolerance.
The range includes full-climate hypoxic chambers, dedicated athletic training chambers, CO2 scrubbers, and wind simulators, supporting altitude training and research programs that need a controlled, repeatable simulated-altitude environment rather than travel to an actual high-altitude location.
