Preen AFV-P Series

High-Performance Programmable AC Power Supply with DC Output, 600VA to 5kVA

Preen's AFV-P series is a compact, single-phase programmable AC power source delivering 600VA to 5000VA with THD under 0.3% at 5-100Hz and response time under 300µs. Alongside standard AC output, the AFV-P switches to a DC output mode from the same unit, making it a cost-effective single instrument for both AC grid simulation and DC bench testing. Built-in Power Line Disturbance (PLD) simulation supports IEC 61000-4-11, -14, and -28 pre-compliance testing, and the current generation is 50% lighter and a third smaller than the previous model.

Like Preen's BPS shore power series, the AFV-P Series can be built into a customized outdoor container or upgraded to an IP54-rated enclosure as an optional configuration — useful for ports, construction sites, remote installations, and other high humidity, heat, dust, or corrosion-exposed environments. Standard indoor chassis remain the default; contact Finch to configure a containerized or IP54 version for your application.
