RFlight Standard EMC Power Amplifiers (CW), 10kHz–50GHz
RFlight all-solid-state CW EMC power amplifiers from 10kHz to 50GHz in six series, each with several power levels: up to 15kW below 400MHz, 200W–3000W at 80MHz–1GHz, 50W–1000W at 0.7–6GHz and 10W–320W at 2–18GHz.

Overview
A radiated immunity test needs an amplifier that can drive an antenna hard enough to reach the required field strength across the whole test band, continuously and reliably. RFlight's WPA amplifiers are all-solid-state continuous-wave designs with intelligent temperature control, full protection functions and a long service life, built for military and civilian EMC standards and for 50V/m to 200V/m field-strength systems.
The range covers 10kHz to 50GHz in six series, and every band comes in several power levels so you can match the amplifier to your antenna, test distance and field-strength target rather than over-buying:
- WPA-9k04 (2kHz–400MHz): 100W and 200W chassis, 1500W, and cabinet systems of 3500W, 10kW and 15kW.
- WPA-00810 (80MHz–1GHz): 200W, 300W, 500W, 1000W, 2000W and 3000W.
- WPA-0760 (0.7–6GHz): 50W, 100W and 200W at 0.7–6GHz; 50W, 100W, 200W, 400W and 800W at 1–6GHz; plus 400W and 1000W at 1–2.5GHz, 450W at 0.8–4.2GHz and 1000W at 2.5–6GHz.
- WPA-20180 (2–18GHz): 10W, 20W and 50W at 2–18GHz; 20W, 50W, 100W, 200W and 320W at 6–18GHz. For 500W at 6–18GHz see RFlight's broadband high-power amplifiers.
- WPA-180400 and WPA-400600 (18–50GHz): 20W and 50W at 18–26.5GHz, 20W and 40W at 26.5–40GHz and 40–50GHz.

How to choose
Pick the series that covers each of your test bands, then choose the power level whose P-1dB output, with your antenna's gain at the test distance, reaches the field strength your standard requires, with some margin for modulation (an 80% AM signal needs about 3.2 times the CW power at the peak). A full-band system usually combines one amplifier from each series. Check the harmonic specification too: most immunity standards expect harmonics of at least -20dBc at the test level.
