The RF Technology Semi-Anechoic Chamber (SAC) is a professional electromagnetic shielding environment engineered for full-compliance radiated emission and immunity testing. Lined with hybrid electromagnetic absorbers on all walls and ceiling, with a solid conductive floor acting as a ground plane, the SAC simulates free-space propagation conditions for accurate, repeatable EMC measurements.
Available in 3m, 5m, and 10m measurement distances with multiple quiet zone sizes, the chamber meets CISPR16-1-4 for radiated emission testing (150kHz–18GHz, optionally to 40GHz), IEC/EN61000-4-3 for radiated immunity testing (80MHz–6GHz, optionally to 18GHz), and EN50147-1 for shielding effectiveness (10kHz–18GHz, optionally to 40GHz). Normalised Site Attenuation (NSA) is ±4.0dB (optionally ±3.0dB), with 75% of test points complying with 6.0dB and sVSWR of 6.0dB (optionally 5.0dB).
RF Technology provides pan-type galvanised steel shielding construction for outstanding long-term shielding performance and corrosion protection. Shielded doors are available in swing, sliding, and sliding gate configurations to suit the chamber size and vehicle access requirements. The complete system includes electromagnetic absorbers, door systems, power distribution, lighting, air-conditioning, cable penetration panels, honeycomb vents, and optional CCTV and fire detection.
Supplied and installed in Australia by Finch Electronic Solutions as a complete turnkey project, including site assessment, engineering design, installation, and commissioning.
